(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the afternoon of April 23, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Tan Duc, held a working session with Dofico Corporation to hear a report on the production and business activities in the first quarter of 2024, as well as the plans and directions for the year 2024-2025. The meeting was attended by the leaders of various departments and sectors.

According to the report presented by Dofico Corporation, their total revenue in the first quarter of 2024 was over 460 billion VND, which is more than 98.8% compared to the same period last year. They also contributed over 278.6 billion VND to the state budget, nearly equal to 109.5% of the previous year. Overall, these results are still below the set targets. Based on the actual production and business situation in the first quarter, as well as the factors affecting the increase in production costs, Dofico Corporation has set a revenue target of over 1.6 trillion VND for the year 2024, with a contribution of over 1.1 trillion VND to the state budget.

In his directives during the working session, Acting Chairman Vo Tan Duc suggested that in the coming period, Dofico Corporation should take a proactive and innovative approach in their production and business strategies to improve the efficiency of their operations. The Provincial People's Committee will provide guidance and support from the departments and sectors to resolve any difficulties related to land, taxes, and market promotion. Regarding the divestment and restructuring plan, the corporation is expected to implement solutions to achieve the approved objectives.
