(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On April 10th, a working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Hong Linh, Member of the Central Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, conducted a field survey of the Dong Nai River's economic activities, specifically from the city of Bien Hoa to Vinh Cuu district. The delegation included Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly, Quan Minh Cuong; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Tan Duc; as well as leaders from departments, agencies, the city of Bien Hoa, and Vinh Cuu district.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Hong Linh, and the working delegation received a report on the proposed investment project in Binh Hoa commune, Vinh Cuu district.
According to the Department of Construction, the planning direction for the Dong Nai River within the province's territory is divided into five sections: Section 1 passes through Tan Phu and Dinh Quan districts; Section 2 covers the area around Tri An Lake; Section 3 stretches from Tri An Lake to Binh Hoa commune, Vinh Cuu district; Section 4 goes from Bien Hoa city to Long Thanh district; and Section 5 passes through Nhon Trach district.
In terms of functional orientation, Section 1 will serve as a cluster for conservation tourism and forest experiences, promoting various forms of forest experiential tourism and exploring Cat Tien National Park, as well as eco-agriculture. Section 2 will focus on developing tourism along the lake, including cultural tourism, resort tourism, and urban tourism services. Section 3 will be a tourism cluster integrating urban and ecological tourism, emphasizing the development of sports activities along the riverside, outdoor parks, resorts, and eco-urban areas, as well as high-tech agriculture. Section 4 will function as a service-industrial urban cluster, the main landscape axis, and the center for urban development, aiming to become a center of cultural and historical heritage, a modern and smart city, a regional service urban area, and a riverside commercial and entertainment complex. Section 5 will prioritize the development of an eco-urban area along the river, mangrove ecotourism, establishing a chain of eco-urban areas along the riverside, prominent riverside complexes, logistics, seaports, and mangrove ecotourism.

During the survey, the working delegation inspected the practical implementation of riverside projects, including landscape improvement and urban development along the Dong Nai River in Quyet Thang ward, the Hiep Hoa urban area in Hiep Hoa ward, the commercial and service urban area in An Binh ward (transforming the function of Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1), the residential, service, and tourism area in Tan Van island, Tan Van ward, the ecotourism area in Ba Xe island, Long Binh Tan ward of Bien Hoa city, and the airport urban area in Binh Hoa commune, Vinh Cuu district.
