(News Portal – Dong Nai) - The provincial People's Committee recently organized a meeting and dialogue with businesses and cooperatives in the province for the year 2024. The event was attended by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Ho Thanh Son; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Hoang Thi Bich Hang; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Hoang, and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

The conference provided updates on the local socio-economic situation in 2023 and the early months of 2024. It also provided information on new mechanisms and policies to businesses and cooperatives, allowing them to integrate them into their production and business plans.
During the dialogue session, businesses and cooperatives raised various issues related to land leasing in industrial zones and the shortage of production sites. Additionally, they expressed the desire for support, lower interest rates, and more favorable conditions for investment and financing, especially regarding existing loans. Furthermore, businesses also highlighted obstacles related to fire prevention and fighting, policies to attract social housing investment, and the need for streamlining administrative procedures related to businesses.

During the dialogue session, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Hoang, directed relevant departments and agencies to respond to the concerns and suggestions raised by businesses and cooperatives. The dialogue with businesses is an annual activity organized by the province with the aim of addressing difficulties in production and business activities and providing information on new mechanisms and policies. According to Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Hoang, the information and suggestions from businesses and cooperatives serve as a basis for the province to amend, supplement, or propose improvements to mechanisms and policies to relevant central authorities. This is to create a favorable business environment for enterprises and cooperatives to operate. Consequently, the province can establish an investment and business-friendly environment, particularly for private sector and small and medium-sized enterprises.
