According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, the province's footwear export turnover in 2022 will reach more than USD 5.1 billion, an increase of over 41% over the previous year. In particular, in December 2022, footwear export turnover was over USD 376 million, a slight increase compared to the previous month. Footwear is Dong Nai's main export product group and has the largest turnover and accounts for more than 20% of the country's total turnover. The footwear industry has a trade balance in favor of the province with a trade surplus of about USD 4.5 billion.
