At the beginning of August 2022, the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) has coordinated with the Departments of Industry and Trade and the Trade Promotion Center of the southern localities to organize a program to connect trade between regional suppliers in Mekong Delta with export enterprises and trade promotion organizations in Ho Chi Minh City.
The joint booth displays and introduces Dong Nai products at the program to connect trade between suppliers in the Mekong Delta and export enterprises and trade promotion organizations in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is an activity under the national program on trade promotion in 2022.
Many opportunities to promote promotion and trade for local products
According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai, this event is an important regional trade promotion activity with the participation of most of southern regions. Thereby introducing typical products, products with export potential to international trade promotion agencies, importers, collectors, export processors as well as Vietnamese distributors. The highlight of the program is the display and introduction of typical products and products with potential for export to the southern provinces and cities with the participation of more than 300 suppliers and enterprises from 18 provinces and cities in the South.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Trade Promotion Center (Department of Industry and Trade), Dong Nai participated in this program with a common stall of the province attracting 18 local enterprises and cooperatives to participate, in which, there are many units participating for the first time and 12 OCOP (One Commune One Product) of the province participating in displaying and selling products at the show's exhibition area.

Currently, the company's main market is in Dong Nai area. This is the first time that the company has participated in such large-scale regional trade connection activities. Through the exhibition booths, introducing products at the conference, the company has the opportunity to connect, promote and introduce products to many suppliers and customers in the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta...
Similarly, many other localities in the South also organized connections for local businesses to connect and promote at this conference. Leaders of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion of Long An province shared that through this conference, many enterprises and cooperatives of Long An had the opportunity to promote trade promotion activities and promote products to new market in the southern region. At the same time, there is more information about potential export markets and conditions for bringing goods into large domestic and foreign retail and supply chains.
In addition, in order to provide information and introduce about the demand for purchasing goods and the demand for goods in supermarket chains, at the conference, leaders of AEON (Japan), Central Retail (Thailand) has shared about the standards for importing goods for consumption at these supermarket chains. In addition, in turn, representatives from foreign trade promotion organizations such as EuroCham, Vietnam Trade Office in the Netherlands, online trading programs between Vietnamese businesses and buyers from countries: Chile, Malaysia, Australia... introduced the potential of connecting and consuming Vietnamese products in the European market.Mr. Ngo Thanh Long, representative of Anna dragon fruit wine factory (Thong Nhat district) shared, after more than 4 days of participating in the connection at the trade connection program between suppliers in the Mekong Delta region. With export enterprises and trade promotion organizations in Ho Chi Minh City, the facility has actively participated in connecting with major suppliers such as AEON (Japan), Central Retail (Thailand), participating in product promotion booths, online connection programs.
