Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve recognized as one of the world's biosphere reserves by UNESCO

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the provincial People's Committee held a recognition ceremony to announce that Dong Nai biosphere reserve has officially become the 580th biosphere reserve of the world. The ceremony was attended by the comrades: Tran Dinh Thanh, member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Tran Van Tu, commissioner of provincial standing committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council, Vy Van Vu, Commissioner of provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Industrial production in November gained over VND 11 thousand billion

Dong Nai’s index of industrial production (IIP) in November 2011 was 2.17 percent higher than the previous month and 9.82 percent higher than November 2010.
