Tan Phu district plans 24 concentration areas for the promotion of livestock husbandry

In a report from Tan Phu district’s People’s Committee, the district authority is now expanding concentration areas for the promotion of livestock husbandry at 13 communes with total size of more than 1.3 thousand hectares.

These planned areas have been invested with such facilities as electricity and concrete rural roads. In 2011, total cattle have risen by nearly 200 thousand heads. As planned by 2015, total pigs reach 78.55%; chicken reach 113.3%; cows reach 51.49%. Hence, the planning of concentration areas for the promotion of livestock husbandry will contribute to maintaining sustainable development of livestock husbandry and environmental conservation.
