As known, the VND16 million (US$991) worth bronze statue weighed 40 kilos has been created by artist Ta Duy Doan and the well-known professional village in Y Yen (Nam Dinh province) for over a month. According to Mr. Duong Trung Quoc, secretary of Vietnam association of historical science, granting the statue is part of the program entitled “a bronze drop to cast celebrities’ statues” launched by the association to revive the moral standard of “when drink water, remember is source”. This is the 3rd statue the association has ever granted to Dong Nai, following those of great poet Huynh Van Nghe and National Hero Nguyen Tri Phuong.
