The provincial Party secretary noticed that the leaders of the district had to carefully calculate and consider the contradictions in the process of development, ensuring profits suitably. It is necessary to avoid the fact that the new urban area and industrial zones become larger but the living standard of residents are lower. Nhon Trach residents should enjoy the development’s achievements, and the rural areas must be given much care. The provincial Party secretary also required that the local authorities should assess residents’ lives, whose land was taken back to serve the development of the urban area and industry at the locality. As for the state of deploying new urban area planning, he suggested that functional sectors of the province should focus on shaping the urban centre in advance, aiming at leading to the development of surrounding areas; and that the infrastructure should satisfy standards of a modern urban area. In order to reach the targets by 2010, the deadline of the project is about 2 years left, so the district needs to check the list of investment projects to which their locations in the district have been determined but slowly deployed. Projects that undergo slow implementation without proper reasons will be definitively revoked, and transfer of ownership of the projects will not be allowed to happen. In the coming time, the provincial Standing Committee of the Party will issue a specific resolution on all-round development of Nhon Trach urban area.
