This industrial zone borders on Phuoc Tan commune, Long Thanh District; Bac Son, Ho Nai 3 commune, Trang Bom district, Long Binh ward, and Bien Hoa city with total areas approximately 500 hectares. This industrial zone has been invested in construction and technological infrastructure trade by Ho Nai industrial zone joint-stock company belonged to General Company of Viet Nam Rubber. After more than 6 years running, Ho Nai industrial zone-the first period-with over 220 hectares, and 70 percent of the area has been rented for development of less- polluted industrial forms to environment such as: household electricity, manufacturing and fitting, pharmaceutical chemistry…For requirements of widening land space for rent, Ho Nai industrial zone has kept carrying out investment for the second period and got prime minister’s approval for the project. Ho Nai industrial zone- the second period, over 270 hectares has been divided into plots with several kinds of medium and small areas to satisfy enterprises’ diversified requirements. Similarly, there are still implemental projects of resolution on related soc-economic problems such as resettlement areas, public service buildings (health, culture, entertainment) and improved system of technological infrastructure.
Especially, Ho Nai industrial zone is close to urban areas, so control of polluted-waste was put on the top. Preferentially construction of A-standard waste disposal system before released out local springs, enhancing green surfaces to 15% of total construction areas, keeping minimum distance of 50 meters to residential areas.
At the announcement ceremony of projects, many people belonged to removed areas have queried about progress of clearance, compensational price, resettlement regulations and worried about career changes as there is no land for production. Representatives of administrative board commit cooperation positively to local authorities to solve interests of people belonged to removed areas by effective, reasonable compensation and resettlement policies
