Over the past five years (from 2001 to 2006), about 2,000 investment projects using over 25,116 hectares of land have been granted licenses to use, lend and change land-use purposes. Land survey activities to draw land map have been carried out in 40 communes, wards and towns in the province with the total area of 130,000 hectares.

The Department targets to draw land map, land registration, granting land-use right certificate; to set up land survey file of 25 communes in accordance with improvement project; to construct database to standardize land survey map and to integrate with database of urban areas; to draw out plans to conduct land census in 2010. Accordingly, the Department of Natural Resource and Environment will set up a project entitled “enhancing the land survey map system of Dongnai province toward the period between 2006 and 2010” and finish the project to grant land-use right certificates to households and individuals in the province by the year of 2007.
