Just 40% of for-rent houses registered

With the establishment and operation of 32 industrial zones, Dongnai has attracted over 200,000 immigrant labors. Most of these labors work in Bien Hoa, Nhon Trach, Trang Bom, Long Thanh, etc and live in for-rent houses.

1806nhatro According to the statistics conducted by the Department of Trade and Tourism, just 40% of for-rent houses in the province are registered. The total number of households in Bien Hoa City, Long Thanh district, Trang Bom district and Nhon Trach district who trade boarding-houses is 7,589 with the total number of 46,237 for-rent rooms and 115.850 people live in these rooms. The rent fee ranges from 200,000 VND to 300,000 VND per room.

Presently, there are 34 projects to build houses for workers in industrial zones with the total area of 750,000 square meters to provide the accommodation for over 67,000 workers. But all of these projects are slowly carried out due to the adversities in site clearance and land compensation.
