According to the report made by DDNRE, the National Road No.1 Project – section
passing Bien Hoa City was approved by the Ministry of Transport since 2002. The
Provincial People’s Committee assigned Tan Thuan Limited Company to make plan
for this route and approved that Dong Thuan Investment JSC set up the National
Road No.1 Project –section passing Bien Hoa city in districts of Long Thanh and
Trang Bom. After comparing the site introduction outline to the line marked in
reality, some errors was discovered. When introducing the construction site of
resettlement area in Phuoc Tan commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Thuan
Investment JSC suggested that the project should be adjusted suitably. And the
DDNRE asked the Provincial People’s Committee to consider 2 following solutions:
Solution 1: Preserving the route line approved by the Ministry of Transport in
2002; approving that Dong Thuan Investment JSC is the construction contractor of
the resettlement project in Phuoc Tan commune, Long Thanh district. This company
has responsibility to make settlement and resettlement planning so that the
infrastructure can be synchronous with the route planning.
Solution 2: Preserving the detailed planning of resettlement area in Phuoc Tan
commune, Long Thanh district, which was approved by the provincial People’s
Committee, with the aim of serving the the National Road No.1 Project – section
passing Bien Hoa city.
