The new free hotline enables the
state agencies, social organizations and people to report violations to the
Crime Control Police Department for Environment. The officers and soldiers of
the department will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to receive
and answer calls nationwide.
In Vietnam, just like other countries in Southeast Asia, the
environmental infringements in general and illegal trade in wildlife animals and
plants in particular have been driving numbers of species to the verge of
extinction. This is a modern and effective information channel for Crime Control
Police forces on environment to promptly gather information about violations of
Environmental Law.
