| On July 24, the contest "Grassgroots Women’s Association Leadership of Excellence in Information Technology Application” co-organized by the provincial Women’s Federation, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Propaganda and Training, Department of Public Relations took place, attracting 130 candidates who are leaders of Women’s Associations of wards, communes and towns across the province to take part in. |

This contest is the first to be held for staff
of Women's Associations. The contest consists of two parts: awareness of
information technology application skills and technical manipulation on the
computer with the work of women's associations.
Contestants competed in part 1 in Dong Nai
Information Technology and Foreign Languages Training Center with the contents:
Basic knowledge of operating system, office computer applications (Microsoft
Word, knowledge of the Internet). The jury selected 20 candidates with the
highest scores to go gorward to the final round held on July 25. Eventually, the
organization has awarded 13 prizes, including: one first prize, two second
prizes, five third prizes, five honorable mentions for the candidates
participating in the contest. Nguyen Ngoc Bao Tram candidate (Women's
Association of Tan Binh commune, Vinh Cuu district) has convincingly won the
first prize.
