| The seminar view |
According to the provincial Farmers Association, for the time being, the total crops area across the province is over 362 thousands of hectares. However, expenses for agricultural production have still been considerable; most of agricultural products of the province haven’t got their brand names, leading to difficult sale, unstable price, and low competitiveness for products, etc. Thus, building value chain aimed at supporting and developing brand name for agricultural products in the province is really essential.
Opinions in the seminar all show that value chain for cultivated products must have three distinctive features, including products with superior quality, low production expense and production to be selected and concentrated. Building value chain should be supported by the government in investing and developing clean agricultural production process, building trade name for agricultural products and policy on product underwriting, capital, material, seedlings, etc.
