Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology held a meeting with its scientists, fellows, collaborators, retired personnel working in the field of science and technology On Jan. 30, 2010 morning, at the conference hall of the provincial Party Committee, Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology (DOST) held a seminar and meeting with scientists, fellows, collaborators, retired personnel working in the field of science and technology. Attending it were Mr. Huynh Van Toi, Head of Department of Propaganda and Training, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai, Vice-Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and over 200 scientists, collaborators, retired personnel from localities across the province.       The overall view of the conference Aimed at enhancing close collaboration effectiveness of administrative agencies and specialists, scientists, and collaborators in boosting scientific and technological activities, application of research achievements and technological advances in socio-economic development, the seminar brought scientific and technological issues into focus such as “Dong Nai Intellectual with mission to study science and apply technological advances, contributing to socio-economic development of the province now”.   “Promote collaboration in scientific research, application and transfer of technology, serving production and life in rural areas in Dong Nai”, “Role of information and dissemination in boosting development of science and technology”., etc. At the seminar, representatives watched videos of scientific and technological activities in 2009, and orientation of science and technology in 2010, and next years. With aims of boosting communication about scientific and technological information, achievements, solutions, research, application in Dong Nai, and disseminating government’s information, solutions and policies on science and technology, DOST launched the award “Golden writer on science and technology 2010”.
