6th grade enrollment in 2010-2011: to kick off on July 28

The Department of Education and Training (DOET) reports the 6th grade enrollment in 2010-1011 will begin on July 28 to August 15, 2010 so that secondary schools and students have enough time to prepare for the new school year.

Accordingly, all province-based secondary schools will enroll in the form of selection based on studying results of Literature and Mathematics in the second semester of grade 5. The DOET also says the sector will select all students in specified ages (from 11 to 13 years old) that have finished their 5th grade learning programs to meet studying demand of students and help universalize secondary education.
