Mr. Nguyen Thiep, Vice-Director
of the Department of Education and Training, said that in the 2010-2011 academic
year, the whole province would have 10 schools holding the 10th grade entrance
exam (up 3 schools against last year), and 25 schools with 420 rooms were
arranged to organize the exam. However, to make it more serious, the educational
sector would have two groups check facilities of the attributed schools.
There are 14,143 examinees
registering at ten high schools, including Long Thanh High School (1,062 ones),
Tran Bien High School (3,252 ones), Ngo Quyen High School (1,400 ones), Nguyen
Trai (1,727 ones), Phuoc Thien High School (548 ones), Doan Ket High School (921
ones), Tan Phu High School (1,104 ones), Thong Nhat A High School (1,302 ones),
Xuan Loc High School (1,256 ones), and Long Khanh High School (1,570 ones).
For schools without their own
admission exams, application forms will be sold out on June 30 and received them
back between July 12 and 17, 2010. All schools will announce temporary exam
results on July 30, 2010.
In the 2010-2011 school year,
it’s expected to have 30,402 province-based students qualified for grade 10.
