According to report of the
Organization Board, three pupils of Bien Hoa city won gold medals among 79 ones.
Besides, 4 silver medals were given to Bien Hoa and Dinh Quan teams, and 5
bronze ones to Bien Hoa and Long Khanh teams. The Board of Examiners also
awarded team prizes to best teams, in which Bien Hoa 1 team ranked first, Bien
Hoa 3 second, and Bien Hoa 2 and Vinh Cuu third.
After the contest, the Department
of Education and Training celebrated a refreshing course for twenty-one talented
primary school pupils in English, including nine ones with high academic
achievements and twelve ones with high-scored performance in each skill
(reading, writing, listening and comprehension). After the training period, they
will be tested, and a selected team will be established to take part in the
Primary English Olympic for southern provinces held by the MOET on June 2010.
