Dong Nai’s export turnover for the first quarter of 2010 is estimated at US$1437.2 million, representing 20.4% compared to assigned goals and rising by 18.5% over the same period last year.

The industrial production of central state-owned sector, of local state-owned sector and of foreign-invested sector hit US$21.5 million, US$66.9 million and US$1348.8 million, respectively. Local businesses mainly exported coffee, wooden products, clothing and footwear.

Import turnover reached over US$1,916 million, up 70.7% over the same period last year. Raw materials, machinery accessories, production equipment, fertilizers, industrial chemicals were mainly imported.
