Dong Nai Information and Communications holds its first model meeting

On the morning of May 14, 2010, Dong Nai Information and Communications held the first 2005-2009 model meeting to honor exemplary collectives and individuals who have made contributions to the information and communications growth over the past five years.

Certificates of merit are awarded to excellent collectives by the Ministry of Information and Communications

Dong Nai Information and Communications implemented the 2005-2009 patriotic emulation movement by reaching and exceeding its targets and tasks to contribute to Dong Nai’s socio-economic development. Particularly, specialized database systems have been installed at 85 organizations in the province and the Post and Telecommunications’ sales growth rate rises by 16.75% on average per year. As of late 2009, the telephone density per 100 people was 109 and the proportion of Internet users hit 18.9%. Each of communal cultural centers has 543 titles of books on law, telecommunications and information technology which help improve the public knowledge.

Many excellent collectives and individuals have appeared in emulation movements. On this occasion, certificates of merit were awarded to four collectives and five individuals by Ministry of Information and Communications and to three collectives and eight individuals by Dong Nai People’s Committee.
